Women in fisheries

Savelina is a technician in the Fisheries Department of the Wallis and Futuna Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DSA). Working with professionalism and rigor, she is in charge of data collection for the Coastal Fisheries Observatory set up as part of the PROTEGE project. She shares with us her views on being a woman working in the fishing industry in Wallis and Futuna.

Women in fisheries can contribute and promote traditional knowledge as well as gender equality in this male-dominated environment
